The FDA, the AMA and other governmental and lobbying bodies do their best to deflate and discredit our industry in the eyes of the public despite the demonstrated effectiveness of so many supplements, folk remedies, herbal preparations, naturally-occurring ingredients, and non-prescription formulations. We need, not so much to be regulated, as to establish a uniform standard of quality on which consumers can rely in choosing supplement products. We also provide consumer education regarding supplements and about the related issues of health, wellness, and longevity. We are an educator, and play a proactive role in making certain that consumers know before they buy.

Our mission, in three essential parts, is to act as 1) an educational and quality control standards advocate for nutritional supplement consumers, 2) an industry advocate for supplement manufacturers who choose to join with us, and 3) an informational liaison between our members and the nutritional supplements marketplace.

At LifeSpan™ Certifications, and through the LifeSpan™ Certification Alliance, we will work together with our members toward a better, safer consumer experience by creating and promulgating uniform quality standards for the participants in the industry.
